"My Rock" explores the miniature, invisible universe of a 2-by-3-metre limestone block in the heights of Calatafimi, Sicily. What appeared to be a simple stone became a foreign planet of tiny plants clinging to rough surfaces, ant colonies, and mineral fragments glittering like constellations. Through the act of looking, I fell in love with this rock. The project is about love as action: how care and attention transform our relation to things.
